Hey All,

Just a quick question im trying to install the GEU250 plug kit to my Alternator (GXE2297).
As i never had a standard loom i was just wondering if the only cables that need to run to the alternator are from the starter solenoid on the battery side.
I currently have 2 wires running from the charge bolt and charge tab but with the plug kit i can use both charge tabs, would all three wires run to the battery side of the starter solenoid?
I have attached a photo of how my wiring currently is.

Cheers,
Mus

You've probably already got this figured, but just in case:

The charge bolt and the charge tabs are all internally connected. Normally they came from the factory with the two charge plugs attached, but no charge bolt. The extra line from the charge bolt to the starter solenoid has been added to handle the extra amperage.

It would be best to keep all three wires running to the alternator (two to the tabs, one to the bolt). It would probably work fine with only one of the tabs, but there's no reason to do that - run all three of them.
