 Post subject: radiator coolant mini

What is the best one to buy ? Some say get the coolant without glycol ? Expert opinions please. I spent $8000. on the new motor.

I run Nulon ethylene glycol green concentrate 25% and h2o. Never had corrosion. I swap it every 4 years.

I don't trust premixed lolly water.

Agree with the Doc, use Nulon green concentrate and H2O in a recently rebuilt Mini engine and all of my other cars.
Dislike premixed coolant as it seems to leave a residue in system over time.

I am using Nulon Green at 30% and rain water.

You may want to run water only for the first couple of weeks flushing the system 2 or 3 times before filling it with coolant.

I was using Nulon non glycol green that I mixed with distilled water, but Nulon has disconntinued this so I've moved to the Penrite equivalent.

Yes also moved to Penrite equivalent and have always used Penrite oil.
