Doug, can you advise your source. I contacted Novus here in Canberra. Quoted $495 fitted and mentioned the oversize problem stating if you chose to get it fitted by Novus, and it breaks, stiff cheese. I was less than impressed with their attitude.

Brian Pope at Link Automotive here in Melbourne can source the usual very slightly tinted all-over style but without the deeper tinted band across the top for $130 delivered to him next day. Installation is on top of that. His usual installer of about ten years has not had any issues fitting them so I ordered one of those.

But then Brian called me back to say his installer had found a small supply of completely clear thick laminated screens that had been made for a larger special order and these were the "spares". So I now have one of those in storage at Link at a cost of $150.

Would Link Automotive carry the correct windscreen rubber for the thicker laminated screens?

I can recommend 'Glass for Classics' speak to Nathan. They send all over Australia. He owns a Mini too.

Tell him Ty sent you.

I also used Glass for Classics and found them very helpful. They shipped the front windscreen plus new front and rear windscreen rubbers.

No issues with there products and excellent Service.
