Does anyone know if there is a way to find sale prices achieved on recently sold minis (say within the last 12 months) in Australia

For non Auction/Ebay you would need to ask the seller or ask the buyer.

I've always found Redbook to be very, very far off the mark. Might be more useful when referring to cars that are only a few years old and can be calculated with depreciation. Older cars are never right on redbook.

Are they ? Asking prices are big , but I'd like to know the selling price.
The ones on carsales seem to sit there for a long time.
Minisport have the white/burgundy MK1 still - he told me he thought it was worth 100k originally ?

That's a good point.

The Cooper S's on Carsales have been there for a long time at their asking price and appear to be not selling, begging the question, that their asking price may be well over what the market value is....

Cheers,
Geoff.

This one was only up for 1 or 2 days. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=98357&hilit=yg2s4+%2435000 Probably sold quickly as it was $20k cheaper than similar ones.
