G'day all, I have an 850 sliding window passenger door with a rust issue. I've circled the offending part in the pic. Does anyone know if a repair section is available to buy from anywhere? drmini suggested maybe in the UK, but I can't find one.
I don't have the funding to buy a new door, so was hoping someone out there made a repair section.

I'm not aware of a repair section, but since most doors are scrapped because of rust in the bottom door pocket section there should be a donor door somewhere for minimal price.

M-Machine in UK have repair parts for 850 doors including bits for top of door. Not very expensive - postage would be more.
I have a LH door - will have a look at it today.

I've dug out my 850 door for a closer look. I cannot remember how the glass and channels are assembled.
The chrome dress strip that carries the bailey channel section at the bottom of the sliding glass (and has holes in it for the window locks) is in fairly poor condition. Is that the part you are after?

nah, sorry Bill, I was after the actual frame part of the door. The part that the glass channels and chrome bit screw onto. Its the white part I've circled in the pic I posted.

Your circle includes the top of the inner door frame and the chrome strip. At the moment the whole door is complete, including the top section.
I can post some photos tomorrow.
