A previous owner installed the 3 gauge pod in my Mini Window Van.

Question #1 - what coloured wire connected the Coil & Tachometer? Was it perchance Blue & Yellow? (I ask because I can not find any Blue & Yellow wire in the wiring diagrams in the OZ Leyland Mini Manual)

Question #2 - I am using a 123 Distributor, does this dizzy present any incompatibility with the tachometer in the cluster?

Rick...which " OZ Leyland Mini Manual" do you have?

The Gregory's has white wire from fuse panel to the coil...then White/Black to the Dissy...

I'm not confused about the Ignition wire to the coil & the connections from the 123 dizzy to the coil.

What I am puzzling is the Blue/Yellow wire with small circular connector...is it the Tachometer connection? (given my non-standard 3 gauge pod installed by previous owner)

SOLVED - I have been advised by the person who did the work that the Blue/Yellow wire was added because the Window Van never had the 3 gauge pod and needed to have the tach in the 3 gauge pod wired up. The wire in question goes to the Negative side of the coil!

Good...I was looking at both Clubman GT and Van diagrams for the coil and instrument circuit board wiring...no Blue/Yeller were jumping out of the pages tho...
