I will be leaving the current location in the next two weeks so I'm holding a once only parts sale of my extensive collection of New Old Stock, used parts, tools and work benches next Saturday before I move out.

Saturday 23rd November from 8:30 am, then Sunday 24th from 8:30 am.

Unit 2/32 Groves Road, Mulgrave, NSW

Please note:

· NO 1275 engines

· Plenty of small bore engines and various gearboxes

· Come along and grab a bargain

· All reasonable offers accepted

. First in best dressed

NOTE: The Mini Kingdom Online shop at the same premises will not be open. I have no involvement in that business now.

Also, I don't have a credit card or direct debit facility so all purchases on the weekend have to be a cash only. My apologies if this is inconvenient for some.

John
I would never have been able to finish the mini if it hadn't been for your invaluable advice and guidance. You are a true gentleman and one of the kindest people I have ever come across.

Thanks for all your wonderful help.
All the best in your future endeavours.

Hi All

I would like to thank everyone who has wished me well, and all the kind words written.
I will respond to everyone personally as soon as things settle down.
I would also like to thank the Mini community in general, for your support over the years.
During that time I have experienced some ups and downs but I have also made some very good friends from within the Mini community.
No matter what happens in the future I am very grateful for having the love of my two sons and the friends I have made as a result of the part I have played in world of Minis.
once again
Thank You

John Smidt

Cheers John for your brilliant encyclopedic knowledge of these cars we love, and for your ability to correctly locate by yelling out across the warehouse exactly where a part is. Goodluck for the future mate.

Thank you to everyone who came along today to lighten the load I need to remove. I hope you are happy with what you purchased.

I discovered some more parts in the warehouse this afternoon that will be out tomorrow for those who can make it.

Below some pics of today.

I went out to Mulgrave today to have a look and say thanks to John for his help for the Mini community over so many years. I bought parts for my 1500 and Clubman in the late 70's. My current Mini came with a folder of receipts, many from Mini Kingdom in the noughties, and I have enjoyed the Show and Shines over the last few years.
Again, thanks for all of your help to keep our dreams alive. Dave D

A quick update on my current situation and plans.

Extracting all the used and New Old Stock parts plus tools and documents from their current location has taken a little longer than I anticipated. This should be completed in the next week.

In about a month's time I will let everyone know how they can see my stock and purchase if interested.

Thank you again to everyone who has conveyed best wishes. It's a bit humbling but I really appreciate it.

Regards,
John Smidt

For those interested, I have now removed all my parts and tools from BMI premises and no longer have an association with MKO.

For the time being I plan to offer parts on eBay while I look at alternatives. Of course I will continue to manufacture and sell the Cooper S and Clubman GT flares using the original factory tooling, plus the flare backing strips.
