I’ve been using the green Nulon for years and haven’t noticed any issues. They do have different blends if you have alloy components in the system

I've also used Nulon ethylene glycol (concentrate) for years, mixed 25% with H2O. Never had pump or thermostat housing corrosion.
But I never use the premixed lolly water, theirs or others.
I used to use the Valvoline concentrate, same story.
I don't know why they would have a vendetta against Nulon. :?

Same here. Nulon green concentrate in all cars for many, many years.
Never an issue...

Interestingly they also recommended against an alloy radiator ... although they do like them because they bring in lots of repeat business.
Cheers, Ian

Did they say why they don’t recommend them? I was planning on grabbing one for the 1275.

I would imagine it's because you can't take the tanks off like the standard type radiators to clean them if need be , I was told that by a guy some years ago that was selling them .

Don't get me wrong , the Alloy tanks work fine , I don't want to put people off from using them, but you would have to have a clean engine to start with .

May have something to do with the variable quality and construction of Chinese Alloy oil and water rads :?:

I've been using Nulon green concentrate mixed with distilled water in all alloy Rover V8 engines for years and never had a problem, usually change the coolant every couple of years, with alloy radiators too.
