Hi all, just something I’ve noticed looking for pistons for a new build is that a lot of suppliers (particularly in th uk) offer just about all the normal sizes, then jump from 1330 to 1380?? Skipping the 1360 size- (which is what I was thinking of going to) Just wondering why this is? |

Most 1360 pistons (73.0mm) here are made in Taiwan. Both Hypatecs and Russell Engineering (not same product). UK sourced pistons are other brands. Also, Russell Engineering have a 72.5mm, which is uncommon elsewhere. Gives around 1352? cc. Saves going all the way up to 1360 from a 1330. |

Graham has 72.5 Nippon? rings. Unlike Hypatecs, they are metric width not imperial. |

Putting Triumph pistons in was once a popular upgrade which resulted in 1387 IIRC. |
