Hi All
Looks like I have ROH 5 x 10 alloys, so the age old question is, what flares could I use with these?
I have spaced drums and will go 175/70/10.
It is for a 73 clubman panel van.
Apologies for a question that has most likely been asked millions of times.

That style should be ok without flares

I agree with Goldbrocade_62.

The wheels you have were made by ROH specifically for the early LS mini using 10" wheels and spacered drums.
They were the same pattern as ROH's Contesta, which was a popular aftermarket option but which had the offset OUTWARDS so it would fit minis with drums all-round without the inbuilt spacers. If the Contesta wheels were fitted to a Cooper S front discs or a mini with spacers on the drums, the wheels definitely need flares to cover them.

But the LS wheels have their offset INWARDS as they were fitted to drums with spacers and did not need flares to cover them.

I suspect the LS wheels are rare.

legality without flares is questionable - the cars that had those wheels from the factory had flares fitted. The wider style of 165/70/10 tyre like Falken FK07E will show a few mm of tread

you can run any type of flare with them, even the narrowest available will cover them fully

175 or 165?

You should get away without flares in NSW and Qld, however SA would need flares.

Thanks all for the replies, I did mean 165 not 175.
I like the look of flares on the car anyway, so I will go down that path I guess. Next question is which flares? Not overly keen on drilling my nice newly painted panels though.
Also I'm thinking that normal Contessa's (or other alloys) would give a wider track and fill out the flares better, so perhaps I need to find alternate wheels that aren't offset inwards.

This is what the LS looks like with Aussie flares and the "LS" alloys and 145 tyres.
