my recently finished 65 deluxe has a rotational knocking. new front brakes bearings. could it be the cvs? unis are new. seems to come on stong for a bit the goes away. other thought is a rear brake drum and pads catching. but feels more like front end...?

anyone have an idea?

Process of elimination, but first check everything for tightness...then check Uni joints for any scuffing wear...

New brake shoes can have high spots before bedding in...

Some new brake shoes are not chamfered on each end. This makes them grabby.
Not only on Minis either, I just had this problem with my Jeep Cherokee rear shoes from eBay.
