Hi all,
I want to run 10" steel wheels with 165 tyres and no flares so I guess I need 4.5" wide wheels?

Are the 9 hole S wheels the only option or are there other suitable steelies around?
Thanks :)

LS offset Contessas are what people often use.

Thank. I have a set of those, but want to use steel wheels instead.

Oh sorry. I didn't read the heading properly before replying.
165 tyres will fit on standard steelies.
Some standard steelies will also clear 7.5 discs also, but a lot won't, so keep that in mind.

There’s not much option in 4.5” steels. There’s Cooper S or Clubman GT wheels and then older wheels that have been customised

If you like the look of steel wheels you can also get the alloy copies

standard clubman S wheels are 4.5" - dime-a-dozen - I gave 2 sets away for a bottle of JD earlier this year

Don’t forget you can’t run S wheels with standard drums :|

Cheers, Ian

Were any of the standard type steel wheels available in 4.5”? I am considering putting the original 850 type wheels on mine, but I’d prefer to have A008’s

These are listed as 4.5”, I’m not sure if this is a mistake?

These have 165 tyres and don’t look like the tyres are too ballooned? They don’t appear to be widened

3.5" Mini wheels are too narrow for 165/70 tyres.
Handling is crap.
Use 145/80-10 instead, however there is not much tyre choice now. Falken or ??
