Well today after replacing a blown Hydro bag we took the Little Fella for a run to see if it was all working good I havent driven any cars much in the last 2 months after nearly dying from an internal bleed last december What i noticed was with my foot on the brake the idle became very low to the point of stalling Take my foot off the brake and it ran well I also notice the brakes dont seem to have much power to them My theory is the Booster is leaking It looks rather new but dont know when it might have been fitted What are other peoples findings Thanks Marc |

From your symptoms I'd say the rubber diaphragm has split. |

Agree with the Doc, have had this happen a couple of times over the years. A lot easier to fix than a leak. |

I had a similar issue but with just noticeable (to real Mini people, not me) symptoms. Grieg at Mini Classic had ordered a new booster but found a leak in the elbow of the vacuum line below the booster. (a stent sometimes saves the need for major surgery) Good luck on all counts. Dave D |
