Your text "this paint drying exercise" made my day and summed up how I feel about what I thought was going to be a 1 hour job to install a new tacho on a Sunday afternoon
, yet it has turned into a research project on a topic I know little about.
Thanks for your help, will hopefully try out the diode this week end and see what happens.
