I don't have access to a MK2 firewall and need to get the measurements for the extra 2 nutserts for the speedo binnacle.

Can anyone help by measuring the distance from the speedo hole to the binnacle screw holes as below. Thanks

Exactly 4" each side.

Distance between the two holes is 1' 2 7/8" (that's one foot plus two and seven eighths inches).

Thanks mate. I am helping out a chap to ID his car and it has lots of conveniently placed holes drilled out on the firewall where a body stamps and binnacle nuts would normally go.
