Ok now i have the bits of metal that are wide and require the S flares (with the chrome strip) as the innocenti type ones arent suited for it (thank god!)
Now i have been quoted 270 for all 4 "s'' flares with the metal strip.

They will need to be painted and all that by the painter. Just wondering if they are difficult to fit if i just got the painter to paint them and not fit them. Or are they best blended? to the body?
How do they fix onto the body.

Cheers.

dude, the chrome strip holds them on. You need to rivet the chrome strip on at the start and end, plus on the tight curves.

get them painted off the car. make sure whoever matches the paint gets it right though!!

Paint match isnt an issue as ive got about 2 litres left over from what the body was done in. The paint is a 99 ferrari green - "blue pearl" which is actually green base coat with blue flecks.

Mmmm its gonna looks the dogs danglies once its all done (flares and rear valance)

hey grouse i dont tihnk the chrome strip holds the flares on

if you look up inside the wheel arches you should see some rivets going into the top lip (the bit thats tucked back downwards).....or maybe its just a cheap bodge thats been done on my car sometime in the past
