Is there any plans for the front end bodywork? I figure you'll have the radiator up the front, it might be an opportunity to improve standard airflow with a big bonnet duct for air to exit after going through the radiator, sort of like lotus Elise bonnets do. |

Yeah that! I remember it coming up in a discussion on here about the mini's aerodynamics, done properly it could help clean up a problem area near the rear of the bonnet / front of the windscreen. |

I do like a bonnet duct and the RS3 LMS is my favourite as it almost looks factory. While my project is going to be different I don’t want to go too far away from the mini body when it’s finished. Similar to my VTEC mini it looked like a cooper sport pack from the outside but underneath was another story. The front will hold the radiator, fuel tank and battery at this stage. I think I will need some additional weight to keep the front wheels down but not sure yet.  Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Cheers thanks. Each day I work on this car a new challenge is thrown at me. The MX5 su frame is going to interfere with the turbo so I’ve adapted and going to make my own frame. It would depend on what sort of look you were going for, and it is a fair bit of effort to go to, but the sleeper aspect appeals. |
