Hey all i am just curious, will a 4efte with all the bits fit into a round nose mini? Has anyone done it?

It has. Some might say not overly successfully but it has been done.

Engine was on a bit of an angle. Builder suggested it had something to do with the gearbox hitting the firewall. Seems strange to me that would be the case given the roundy/clubby firewall is the same....

If the gearbox was hitting the firewall, why not tunnel it out a little?

I don't believe you can, if you want to register it that is .... I could well be wrong, I've seen a MK1 Cortina with a 451 cleveland in it that no doubt required some massaging of the firewall.......

because then you would be tunneling into the steering rack. The diff sits right inline with the rack, so to move the motor bank you would need to move the rack.
