I suppose so they can eat at the end of the week. To make a good subframe (and I reckon I have seen one of the best) takes a lot of time and money.

Yeah that was all inclusive (MIG wire etc). Steel (especially mild) is by my reckoning pretty cheap. And alot I got from the spares bin as you don't really need long lengths of it.

i figured about 3 mtrs of 25nb mw cds tubing and a little flat bar
