Unfortunately I haven't got a VTEC for direct comparison but definitely the block especially looks a lot fatter as does the head. I'm happy with the Starlet which is a squeeze anyway.

so you guys think that using the starlet motor is an easier conversion than the honda one.

Mike, a little bit easier but not much. I think you have to do quite a bit more stuff with the subframe for a VTEC. But don't quote me...

Also nice frame on the roundie, bit light on though :?:
