Yeah Mime it can look pretty scary just make sure you tag things as much as possible it will make things easier. I was actually wondering how to get the loom on the cabin side out into the engine bay but it all goes through the hole in the firewall (after a bit of jiggery pokery).

The loom can look bit daunting but if you have a wiring diagram it all makes sense and is not to bad to sort out what you need and bin the rest.

92 it ends up my halfcut ran ABS to remove these wires (not necessary I know) do I just follow them back to where they originate and cut them off? Also I have the wiring diagram that everyone else has that I think was translated by Paul of Tatsumaki fame is that the one you used?

ABS that makes it a bit more difficult if it dosen't run to the engine ECU it should be fine to cut out. My loom i took out every thing that wasn't asociated with the engine and used a new fuse box and relay board to minimise all the wiring. The diagram I used came from toyotaGTturbo.com

Yeah 92 I noticed that the loom seems to have two fuse boxes the big black one and one that goes inside the cabin. I'll have a go during the week and see how I go and maybe get back to people if I have any :?: :?:
Cheers

Matt, if they ain't bulking up the loom too much then just leave them with insulated terminations....never know when you are going to need a spare cable run.....5 centavos.

Well Dean, having had a look possibly. But the hubs etc on the Starlet seem to be designed for the ABS is there is a fair amount to it. I think with vented discs with four pots it is a bit OTT also are you running a booster? It would be nice but alot of work. Why not ask Mr Enforcer I think he will agree but he could possibly give you better info as to the pros and cons...Its a pity I don't have the Toyota hubs with me I could take a photo and you could see what I mean...

Yeah I am using the vented disks & 4-pots...

As for the brake Booster thats a must... I have to have one for it to be legal... aparently...

Hmmm I will ask Mr Enforcer about the Pros & Cons to the ABS... & let you know...

Yeah Bara ask Mr Ed it would be an interesting adaption. Imagine doing stoppies (like on a motorcycle) in a Mini. I should have my driveshafts today or tomorrow so things are moving along, only downside $500. But once again big fish, small pond...

yeh matt mine where about $500 too, but they took bloody 3 months to do them  I sent the the starlet shafts and after 2 months of not hearing from them i found out they had stuffed 1 side up, and where looking for another shaft to complete them.

In the end they couldnt find any shafts so made me some billet shafts up :D same price and will handle 500hp 8)

Billets are what I am getting... they are $800 for the pair... Is it worth the extra 300???

Or are you getting the Billet ones for a even better price?

You are flying along Minster... at this rate you will be on the road in no time...

Quick question... are you better off using a new loom? As they are only $200...
