My mum used to have a Suzi Alto.
Always use to buzz along sounding like it was in the wrong gear
- and usually was with mum driving it
There is a reason the 3-cylinder 657 cc DOHC 4-valve turbo Alto works motors are rare.
They were never sold here, only in Japan from 1987 to 1990.
There is also the light alloy 658cc used in the Capaccino with the same valve & turbo setup.
This motor also came out in some Alto's from 1994 on. There are also 2V turbos.
Some of the 1998 on Suzuki Kei & R+ Wagons also have the good donk.
All very popular for Mighty Boy owners who want a 0-100 km/h time,
and a 1/4 mile time not in the twenties
Would be an easy fit in a mini, but $2450 just for the engine package $$$
