what's with the speed dropping off after 8000rpm JC - your clutch start slipping so badly that you actually stopped the car?

seriously, that's really handy... last night I made similar a spreadsheet for my honda

how do you calculate the roll out of the tyre?

Formulae:

Outside diameter of tyre in mm:

OD = 25.4x(rim size in inches) + (profile)x(tread_width)/50

Rolling circumference in m:

RC = 3.14xOD/1000

eg: for 165,70,10 size:

OD = 25.4x(10) + (70)x(165)/50
= 485 mm

RC = 3.14x(485)/1000
= 1.52 m

at deans 10,00 RPM that puts him at 315 KM/H Considering the tires balloon out considerably I would put him at about 340. That's just no safe however you look at it ground control or not

You wanna watch out , you'll have a line of people with a deathwish wanting to try it . I've been told mini's are stable till 220kph , after that they try and lift the tail off the ground ...
