It's the radiator header tank

I know it's the header/expansion/overflow tank.. What I meant was, what car did the tank come from - which has been noted by winabbey.

The owner lives near Dandenong somewhere. Was a good bloke but doesn't like the politics and opinions of us mini owners.
He rebuilt the engine and turbo last year to get 300-400HP out of it. Just when he finished he disappeared from all forums and social media so not sure how it ended up.
Here is the last 2 photos I received from him before disappearing.

That's a shame.
Thanks for sharing those pics.
Hope he turns up again.

The car is still around but has sat in my garage for the last two years cause the design of the previous set up just wasn’t good enough for the power it produced with the output power it made from the rebuild so lots of changes and lack of funds. I disappeared due to personal reasons aswell as some people think they know everything but know stuff all but with a highly modified engine the cooling system in this sort of conversion has to all marry up together and the previous set up wasn’t good enough and the existing exhaust manifold (log style) creates to much heat soak and wasn’t doing any favours. A couple of months away and it will be out again

Awesome to hear. Really appreciate the update and wish you all the best in sorting out all the tricky stuff.
