Just a quick update,

Dean and Josh have motivated me again and i got stuck into a few things over the last couple of weeks. They are as follows:

1. Mini 3 core radiator modified amd mounted with thermo fan under the boot.
2. Stainless steel exhaust (2.5inch) with catalitic convertor but no muffler tacked together and ready for final welding. I will be interested to see how quiet (or noisy) the exhaust will be. The stainless pipe i scored has a mirror finish on it.
3. Finished welding my deseamed rear bumper line and layed 2 coats of bog over it. Now to finish sanding and shaping.
4. Installed the tworadiator feed lines under the car.
5. And belted my head numerous times under the car including nice scrath to forehead along with some mild burns from the molten steel from welder to my body. I love working under cars!

Hopefully have some photos next week.

well done sounds like its comming together how far have you gone with the radiator i have a feeling the car will overheat

a mate of mine is on his third trial radiator under the boot and it keeps overheating his had two thermos going non stop on a g13 turbo (quite simular to your setup in size and power)

Yeah, not sure how it will go but will trial this setup first and see how it goes. The rad has a slight tilt to try and get air to pass over it, it is a three core so it actually has more surface area than the standard efte rad and i have two 32mm lines running to the rear of the car so that should help with volume and cooling.

Where has you friend mounted his radiator lines? if they are in the tunnel the exhaust system could be heating the lines asweel.

Italian Job style ! do you want to come and watch?

I'll actually jack it up and remove one timber at a time, then just drive it off the original trolley.
