Well done Dan, can't wait to see it out and about - you should be really proud with what you've done, it's a little beast and totally unique 8)

May I request some info or detail shots on how you mounted the raditor under the boot floor and did the engineer make any comment or suggestions on it?

Gentlemen,

I took GRN 850 out today for its first drive since it has been registered, prior to that we had driven it up and down the street only and we livei n a short street. So we had no real idea of the performance prior to today.

Let me say i still have a grin from ear to ear  . Up to 3000 rpm the mini is very sedate with the usual droning and vibrating in the cabin . Once you pass 3000 rpm the mini is like scolded cat, it just takes off and throws you back into the seat, in fact it is quite scary.

At one stage i held it in second until 4500rpm and found it just broke traction :o

The end result was well worth the effort.

Dan, mate that is fantastic news and the results are amazing you're eye for detail and the fact that you acheived it in a roundnose are testament to your abilities and perseverance. Like Dean says bring on the cruise and dyno day. With the number of Starlet Mini and engine conversion in the pipeline it should be cool. As as for the power welcome to the blurred vision club... :D

Cheers

Matt
