hehe, that is low..... are you still going to run the hydraulics on her like you posted ages ago? I have been obsessing over hoodrideratrod beetles and other vw's of late and love the erdiculously low look. I think they bag them and drop them on the guts when parked. I would love to see a mini doing that... keep us informed and keep up the good workgordo and mr enforcer.

Hey,
That is cool
Are you sure you want to use compressors?
I hear the noise gets annoying and the condensation can rott the system. They also say it freezes in the cold but that wont be a problem for aussies.

They are hydraulic pumps, not air compressors... So they will be pumpin hydraulic fluid around the car. Just like the yanks do it

i thought your ment to put the bog on bear metal....

not what ive been taught...

stripper disc-->deoxidine-->metho-->compressed air-->etch-->hi fill prime--> guide coat--> rub 'flat' with 120--> bog etc etc

they may do it differently in other places :P

:?
ive been told not to stick it to primer, when it heats up it can peel of the primer, and sticks better yo bare metal

ohh... as the name hydraulics would suggest. Sorry. I have been reading about airbagging lately and got my wires crassed as per usual.

It is going to be very cool to say the least.

I only just re-read my post... And i meant that the batteries are 20kgs each. The pumps are a little lighter atm but thats without fluids. And the progress is ever so slow :(

Even though he is using hydro's and not bags, if the compressors are set up properly on a airbag system with water traps and regular attention you shouldnt have problems with condensation.

Aesome idea putting adjustable suspension in a mini :) Eventually i want to run a van with airbag suspension :)
