I actually went and took a look at it today, they got it back from the bead blaster on saturday. So the hammering and dollying started today, hopefuly be half bogged up by the end of the week...
I had to get it blasted again because the surface rust had started and there was that much bog on the car from the first cock that was working on it

Latest update...

Cleaned up the front cut out some rust and got rid of the lip thats not needed with the kit..
Image

Image

Did some re-enforcing at the back of the front panel, as it was very flimsy and with a front mount intercooler and radiator it will need some beef to hold it all...
Image

Hopefuly it should be in polyester in less than two weeks ready for the traial fitup of motor/box

looking good, you realise when you put paint on a car how much work there is to do, looks like theres a fair bit of panel beating to be done looking at that rear quarter.. but, thats all part of the fun and ittle be worth it to produce what is going to be, a great car.

keep up the good work. nice to see some different stuff being done to minis for a change

they may do it differently in other places :P
