I know what you mean Gordo - my shed has flooded three times since December!!

And with all this rain on the way, it will probably happen again!!

My van finally made its way into my new shed after a little bit of drama's. I had the van sitting on a pallet fitted with wheels so that i could wheel it around. Firstly the pallet broke to bits and wouldnt wheel. So i said the the Mrs that only just had an emergency cizerian (how ever that is spelt) 3 weeks earlier, you push it and ill lift the front. So half way into the shed the god damn rear wheel fell off  So it sat like this, half in half out for a few day until my old man came around and helped me lift it in...

I had the front hubs fitted out with all new bits, just have some second hand cv's in there so i dont ruin another set of new ones...
I think ill fit it all to the subframe includine the motor and box and measure up for some drive shafts

With every one else posting an update it triggered me to finally do something possibly worth updating... I got a few bits from the US a while back and JC was great enough to being them back for me! I can't thank you enough!!
So I finally opened the box today and had a look at the bits, some nice new bits ready to put together... I'm stripping the upper arms as I type this out. So in the next few days I might even bolt everything up into the sub frame

Hey Gordo,

If you need a hand let us know, you are not that far from me. In fact there are probably a lot of members who would be keen to see the van progress. We might be able to organize a working bee with some of the other coast members if you like. I'm happy to help you rub it back, grind rust etc....

I've just fixed up my location... Where abouts are you on the coast?
I think we should organise something in the near future. Would be good too meet a few others and even be around a few minis again.
I have to get it to a workable platform again. Needs to be blasted for the 4th? time and sealed up so the rust doesn't start again

Ok.. So little has happened to the van of late. Well actually nothing...
But I have since gotten another mini that is much further along than the van and I am going to get this one going first and hide the van back in the corner of the shed (out of site out of mind)
Have plenty of bits I can use to get the new one going. But I do want to have a working bee of sorts (more of a BBQ and beers, than a working bee) I need to sort out a list of what I need to get to get this mini back together. Have a small list of present but really need to put what I've got back into it and lessen the list

So if any one has a free day one weekend name a date and we'll get something started!
It would be a great dive up the mountain for a mini :!:
