There is nothing like a Saturday update! Am just about over the moon, pity we picked the worst weekend of winter to move house. Normally we can see the gold coast clearly from here, can't even see past the back yard

Here's the progress pics anyways

What are you going to do for door handles and windows? Those big hinges look pretty obtrusive on the internal space. :?

The hinges don't intrude really any further than the normal pilar would. I'm goin to get glass cut for a full window without the quarter glass. And door locks I'm not too sure yet, might go keyless entry with bear latches and door proppers

Try and get your hands on some rover door catches, they'll be relatively easy to rig some poppers and an internal release up to.
The problem with most aftermarket ones is they're pretty big and it makes fitting them to a mini all that more difficult.

The other thing is that with single piece glass there will be less room for the internal latch mechanisms at the front than at the back. Given the modifications, make sure you don't get rid of the ability to retain the quarter window, you might just need that valuable 6 inches of real estate for your poppers, handles, electric window motors, speakers, and whatever else you can think of.

+1 for what harley said, theyre a pr!ck of a door to put central locking in without 1/4 windows to put the actuators in, i could only imagine the pain of all the other stuff u want in there..

That is the subframe Mr Enforcer built, most of the bits there are for the front subframe. The others are for the front wheel hub assembly.
I'm hopeing to have the mini up here in QLD shortly so I can start piecing it all together

Hey, sorry I took so long to see your post... I still have the zeemax kit and hopefuly that is going on some time soon. Too sell this car and for me to not loose thousands it have to be sold for something astronomical. I'm going to finish it and keep it, I've never actually even driven this van...

And I got some great news last night, my mate in Sydney got a phone call from my x asking him to come and pick up my exhaust from her place. She finally found it on her roof, it wasn't lost after all. Saves me at least $1500 in not having to get another one made :D
I still might alter it, I'm not too sure about the cannon out the back anymore. I might end up with a simple muffler and a dump type tip

I found a better picture to show what they look like in side... I have a half roll cage in the rear of the van so it sits in the corner where the pillar and hinges are also
