Guy's this has nothing to do with the van but I might have to pinch parts off it to sort my other mini out... I am currently trying to bleed the brakes... This mini had new brake lines fitted and metro 4 spots rebuilt and what looks to be a rebuilt/ new tandem master cylinder fitted. I can bleed the rears fine but can seem to bleed the 4 spots on the front. I am using an "Air Boy" which makes bleeding easy as it sucks through the fluid from the master cylinder. I'm keeping the master topped up but cant get a nice solid stream out of the front brakes. I have a Willwood brake proportional valve fitted to adjust the rear. And every line is new... I don't have anything leaking onto the ground and the master cylinder stays full. It has sat for the last 3 months untouched and no signs of leaks anywhere. I didn't have anything to do with the calliper rebuild or anything to do with the master cylinder, it was all on it when I got it.. Am thinking that the master could be stuffed or the front callipers weren't rebuilt properly? If the callipers were put together wrong and am unable to bleed them properly would they leak? Cheers Dan And its looking like I'm going to have to pinch the new master cylinder I have for the van and try that out... I don't really want to change the front brakes to the 6 spots I have for the van onto it but I don't really have the funds to get another set of metro 4 spots built |

I knew the clutch one wasn't in there. But thought the brake one was... While looking at getting the clutch one sorted today I saw that the brake wasn't in there. God dammit! |

Ok so I thought it was about time to show what has been doing and to make the last few posts a little clearer... About a year ago I picked up a pretty much built 1970 roundy with a 4efte inside... Pretty much just needs putting back together as the last owner was going to paint it. Also needs wiring and a few bits but the majority is done.     Radiators are underneath which I'm not sure how well they're going to function until they're running... As I said above there is a fee things too do but nothing major. Still needs front drive shafts too |

Hey Dan, nice buy. Looks like you are pretty close to boosting around the coast in it. This kind of looks like 'minimetoy's mini (well mainly how the radiators under the boot are mounted). Do you know if it is his or was this one modelled on it? What colour are you planning on painting it? |

I think he was the main build part of the subframe... Nice and bent in one piece for the top arms. I'm going to leave it the same colour as is. Just need to finish it. Drive shafts, gauges, battery and wire it up. Sounds simple but still a little ways to go yet Was speaking to Tricky the other week and we might order all the drive shafts at the one time and try and get a discount. Will either be 3 or 4 sets. Yours, mine (maybe for both cars) and Tricky's. Will save for a set |

I realise there is still someway to go with it but it seems closer than the van. At least if it has driveshafts in it then it should hopefully push you along to get it wired! Good luck with it! |

Finally I get to see it Dan!! Looks great and oh so close to being completed. Almost ready to order the shafts, just need to get Nicks engine back together so I can measure, and then I will contact the supplier. Cheers, Tricky |

Does any one know what part number or what exhaust sensor / oxygen sensor what ever you want to call it is for a 4efte? |
