That might come up ok Dan if you get it covered or something...??

Yep that would make it look ok. It's not too bad as it's along the theme of that bare bones look at the moment

Something little but another step forward. Well it should have been done originally but done now. Will get it ceramic coated again

Bit of an oversight by the PO! As you say, at least it is done now and it is one less thing to worry about during reassembly.

Sorry for the crappy photos...
Wiring up a few switches and gauges takes longer than it should

I'm just about ready to do the gauge senders into the 4efte. I've had a quick search and look but nothing easy surfaced... In the motor I have, there are 3 senders in the water. One looks like it's for the ecu and the other 2 have nothing on them. Does anyone know if one or both can come out?
Similar question for the oil (I'm doing an oil temp and oil pressure) is there anywhere particular they should go?
All the gauges I'm using are electric at least so I don't have to run any mechanical lines into the cab.
Thanks in advance guys!

Thats a really clever idea to mount those toggle switches there, looks like a factory installation.

Thanks bud, I've still got a mini switch panel but I think I will stick with this set. Not real sure what I'm going to use all the switches for yet but I'm sure I'll find something

Hopefully doing some more wiring this coming weekend...
Would be nice to get it to the stage of being ready to fire up. Will just need to replace all oils and fill all fluids. Then continue the wait for driveshafts

Dan,
Have a look at the wiring doc that I created a couple of years ago. Pg 12 shows the functions of the 3 coolant switches aruond the thermostat (HVAC, ECU, Dash gauge, Rad fan)
http://www.mearcat.com.au/docs/EP82%20Starlet%20Wiring%20and%20Connectors.pdf ~10Mb
