Oh yeah, and I'll be racing a Miata in a ChumpCar race on the weekend at Laguna Seca!

The Century is not very mini, but I love it!
Very rare in Australia.

Also good luck at Laguna !

Here are some Laguna Seca pics. The Mustang got destroyed on turn four last year, so this year we replaced it with a Spec Miata.

The Century is officially road legal now! Where were V12s all my life?! I love my Minis and performance cars, but there is something pretty special about having a big VIP land yacht as well.

Beautifully hideous.
Well done. I hope to have a v12 in my future too.

The lace is much nicer quality than I was expecting. I've been pleasantly surprised with everything on the car. I specifically wanted all the JDM goodness when I was shopping for the car, I wanted the parking pole, wing mirrors, wool interior, doily headrest covers and curtains etc. I wanted the real deal. Same sort of thing with the Super 7, it had to be the small original sized car. I didn't want a bigger more luxurious version that you can buy now. That just isn't what the car is about. My Mini had to be a Traveller, everybody has a saloon :D .

Well, the wife thought it was time to get a minivan but she agreed to compromise. I had to be able to modify it so it wouldn't just be another boring minivan. At least I found one with a manual gearbox.

Image

I gathered some goodies I had in the shop like some wheels, the Nardi and the shifter knob. To make it a little more fun.

Image

But that wasn't cutting it, so I started cutting. There just aren't enough utes here in Canada.

It's handy now.

And fun on weekends too...
