cool little bracket for the ecu.
I assume you've already got it sorted but if it were me I'd use a bit of foam tape around the ecu so it is cushioned and doesn't rub and rattle on the body shell.
my 2c :)

I built the bracket slightly bigger than the ECU to there would be room for some foam when I do final assembly on the car. Thanks for the input. I also just tacked the bracket on and will probably use a cut off wheel and cut part way through them so it would break off in an accident if the passengers knees hit it.

Here are some updated pics on the progress of the wiring in the engine bay. It's really coming together now. Just have to finish figuring out where I want everything to run, then I will tidy everything up.

The first couple pics are of a nut that I welded into the bulk head so I could mount a modified Honda bracket for some of the plugs in the wiring harness to mount to.

I'm still improving still not back to my productive self. I still get sore much easier than before and I don't feel physically like getting out in the shop, mentally I do. I did some work on my cube can the other day she. I discovered the oil was way over full indicating the lift pump was failing and pumping diesel into the oil pan of the engine. So I converted from a mechanical lift pump to an electric one. I installed some neon under low under my lowered Tacoma that I can turn on by remote control. There are some haters but I still think glowing light coming out of places that is t normal looks cool. I tucked the neon tubes so you don't see them, just the soothing green light under the truck.

Also I've been busy playing with some new toys. My most amazing girlfriend bought me the new GoPro black edition the day it came out which has prompted me to order a new MacBook Pro Retina that will be here any day. Being the Apple fan boy that I am I decided that since my iPad and MacBook will both be retina that I better upgrade the old iPhone to the 5 to round out the entire experience.

Next time I open head out to the shop I plan to work on the Travelle"R". Thanks for being patient everyone.

I'm getting there, not in much pain. But I am still getting sore by then end of a days work at the office and I don't feel motivated to go work in the shop. I've only been doing basic maintenance on my vehicles. Also I was in Las Vegas for a few days at a seminar. I've got some trim for my house in my garage, just needs a final coat of paint and then I can roll the Mini back in to the centre and start getting some more work done on it. I really do have good intentions to get back to work on it. Because I know how much I disappointed I get when I'm following a build that makes good progress and then stops before you see the end of it. I don't want to be that guy and do that to you. Also I'd personally like to see the car finished and take it for a burn.

On the upside I got myself a new computer so I can actually edit the video I take with the GoPro my amazing girlfriend gave me. So one day I may even share some video with you guys too. I'm currently making a video of one of my sessions racing a Mini at the 24 hours of Lemons (Not Le Mons). Google it if you are not familiar with the race series.

Continuing on with the wiring. I spent about 3 hours working on some wiring in the engine bay today. Continuing on from where I left of a few posts ago.

Before I started today.

I pulled the front of the car off and modified a Honda bracket where the clutch slave hard line and flexible line connect.
