Hello everyone!
I really need advice especially from who ever ordered ultimate mtb2 kit from minitec.

Alright here is my situation, I ordered my kit from minitec on mid of March and it is taking 2 and half month, but still not have got the kit.
Firstly I was hearing that they could usually prepare it in a month, so I just start getting worried.

So, here is my question, how long would it take you to get your kit from order to delivery?
(BTW I am ordering from Japan)

Thank you for reading!

Careful about the track width if you haven't already thought about it, needs to be within 25mm of the original I think. Don't quote me on the measurement.

Thank you for reminding me that!
Anyway I have to pass the car as modified car so it is not so big deal.
As long as it doesn't exceed 1700mm (it will change vehicle tax class)

(just read ordering from Japan, thought it was coming from Japan. My bad)

You guys have it good then, in Aus we are not allowed to increase the track width more than 25mm from standard.

Really? In Japan we have similar regulation but it is about body size which you can't extend width of body without re registration

Yeah flare which change width of body more than 20mm is count as body extension.
Funny part is if you narrow your car more than 20mm you also need to re register too

And ah
I should mention "that is what they say when police stop you or car inspection timing which came once a two years"
So many car freaks ride their car under illegal condition and they put it back to normal condition when inspection timing come

Interesting...

So can tyres stick out past the side of the body? Is it just the body width or the width of the car on the road? Do they measure at the side of the door or panel, or the outer edge of the mirror?

Tim

No tires can not stick out past the side of body, they judge it at the zone from top of the tire to 30 degree to front and 60 degree to rear, red zone of pics. If they see from above at this zone and if tires and wheels are still in body. It is ok.

They will measure width at widest point exclude outer rear view mirror.
