More trumpets than the Glen Miller big brass band!

What are you doing for air filters or an air box Sean?

Cheers,
Tricky

I think it's going to need an air box, to pass engineering anyway, but when it's on the road Thattle come off and il just put some pipercross weber filter socks on them and take them off for shows etc.. That's the plan anyway

Be careful at shows, I have heard all sorts of horrible stories where people throw a nut down a trumpet.

What I've seen some people do (the cars owner not some random stranger) is put tennis/stress balls on top of the trumpets. That way you don't have to worry about things "accidentally" getting into your engine.

I've seen a string of 4 bath plugs on a chord used at a few shows.
Was intending to use the same thing on mine.

Or you could just be like some of the Japanese tuner guys and just run little mesh covers on them just fine enough to keep out big things but not too fine to minimise restriction.

Filters are for the soft over there. 8)

Nah, I have that on the race car, but testing has shown that they seriously defeat the purpose of the ram tubes to increase air flow:
 No filters > Air box > Socks > Mesh

I'd like something like this, but don't think it'll fit. Just have to stick with socks I suppose.

I could tig something up fairly easily, only drama I have is space between it and the bonnet, il probably have a slight bulge in it anyway but don't want it to look too rediculous

Did you cut the inner panel to fit that radiator in that position?
