I found a lot of problems with using the mini slave cylinder on the clutch......i actually went cable in the end and it felt heaps better.
Your master cylinder might improve it, but i just found the mini one too short on travel to work properly.

Meeni what would you charge to paint the top engine cover? I'm after something that stands out big time. And did you get the picture of the seat mounts in my car?

Apparently you can get an oem suzuki one but I don't know which car they're off or what they look like.. Il see how this goes anyway. It's firm but not unbearable.

Gordo I have no idea what I'd charge for a cam cover... All depends what you want on there. And yeah saw your seat mounts I reckon I need to do something along those lines.

I believe the factory slave cylinder to fit is from a suzuki baleno.

Went to pick a part for a look but they were all auto ones.. I can get the slave off eBay it's just the arm that's elusive.

Started on the exhaust. I went and got 2.5" tube for it thinking that won't be too big... It's quite large but oh well.. I'm happy with it although it's a pain to wrap around the gear linkage. Should be fine though will just have to try not to get beeched as bro on speed bumps. I want a 3" outward rolled tip but that's proving hard to find in aus. Sorry about my floor.. It's only like that under the car I promise

I've got some nice things coming to tidy up those fuel and brake lines too... Don't judge me lol

Took the motor back out to do some final additions to the frame. Takes about 5 minutes to get out with the lift up front now which is good.

I did lots of jobs that aren't photo worthy really.. Gussets and strengthening stuff.. Frame needs to come out for final welds and a coat of paint.. Looking forward to that stage so all my time and money. doesn't look like crap anymore. As you can see I've got a small amount of rust to tackle in the crossmember too.

Image

Basic brackets were made for things like the oil catch can

Image

And while the motor was out I welded and painted the crank pulley as well as the water pump pulley

Image

Image

The list of jobs is getting scarily small now I'm worried I might actually finish this and get to drive it!

Today I pulled the frame out and finished it. Not a lot there when the front isn't there

Image

Got some undercoat on it too which was nice

Image

I haven't made the brake line mounts yet but they're going to be bolt on so no need to wait for them.

Decided to tackle a couple of mechanical jobs this weekend as I was pressed for time so I got the box and clutch off the motor and put it up on its stand.. Looks a bit grubby il have to re paint everything..

Image

I had a pg LSD to put in so I pulled the gearbox down and fitted that. Nothing looked too bad in there so I just put it back together as is. I won't really know till I run it but should be fine. Bit easier then a mini box..

Bit of re assembly, I've still got to paint the hinge mounts grey but il do that later. Fitted a brand new steering rack, one side of the lower control arms, and mounted the brake and fuel lines that run down the fire wall. Pretty happy with the look of everything so far

All the lines are clamped with billet clamps. Love it, nice and neat
