Id like to come and have a look with a mate of mine who has just embarked on the same project. Im sure he could learn a thing or 2. He has the front cut off and just got his subframe delivered.

Speaking of subframes, does this subframe (MiniTec?) alter the track width?

I'll be watching this build with interest. I know of at least 4 Mini engine conversions here in Perth (including mine) in various stages, so it will be intresting to see how yours progresses Al! It's certainly much quicker when you can buy a subframe off the shelf.

They are becoming increasingly more popular - and why not, they make the coversion that much more simpler!!

I think there is one going into a Mini in Victoria too, on the peninsula I think...??

Cheers,
Tricky

That looks rad! Love those rims! Will they rub on the new subframe or steering arms or bodywork?

love the vtec's these days, now they dont stretch round noses i have dimmed my dislike :P

that looks really good, love the stance it has. aggressive wheels and tyres suit the vtec.

is it being engineered as a 2 seater?
