Matt,

We could put some R1 ITB's on it - that would be nice (and then supercharge it)!!

Cheers,
Tricky

i have some bike itb`s here already & had already thought about it :-)

hee hee

the possibilities are endless on this thing,,, it`s small,,, cute,,, alloy & light,,, short (not as tall as the toyota or the bigger nissan engines & definately smaller all round than the big fat honda units) & it`s also not very wide,,, i reckon it`s probably the best of a bad bunch :-)

we could lumpy it up & ITB it,,, or we could leave the cams & just pump it

or we could just leave it as it is for now & thrash it till it pops :-) If it pops :-)

i`m really liking this thing,,, it`s a great little donk,,, sort-of a baby SR20 :-)

i`ll wait & see what it`s like at the autocross (because that place is a good test for cars & me,,, that track & i have a good history so i can tell a good car on that track,,, if it`s pulling it`s weight there then i`ll swap it into a brick... but it`s all looking like it will be going into a brick pretty soon :-)

Like the 3 cyl Daihatsu donk, it might fit into a Mini subframe without giving it the rigidity of a wet paper bag (like most 4EFTE ones do).

Does anyone have any info on the weight of he micra engine, compared to the other more popular options??
I'd be interested to see the difference.

Is this the engine in the Micra 1.3 Super S? Funny they gave it a very Cooper S name and now the donk may end up in a mini.

Definitely need to do it Matt. :D Hopefully it's had work done to it, because they only had 75hp (55kW) from the factory.

Do it!
