Okay so we're back in action with this thing - I bought a welder the other day (up until now I've been borrowing them) so nothing was holding me back to do a few jobs.

First one was to get the alternator mounted:

Then I set about installing the radiator. It was going to be side mounted but this way has more room.

See - plenty of space for a fan. :D

How will you run the top radiator hose?

The top and bottom hose connections will be blocked off, and moved to the other side.

If I put the radiator in without mods then the cap would hit the bonnet, the lower hose connection would hit the engine mount and there wouldn't be much room for the top connection.

Except theres no room between the engine block and the radiator to run your exhaust through.

With the four day weekend just gone, I managed to spend every day of it in the shed.
The subframe is now ready for paint, the clutch setup is working nice and smooth, and I've filled and repaired a bit of the engine compartment panels. Just got to tidy up the cut edges around where the frame fits.

Looks great in any colour

What's the go, did you powdercoat it and then paint it or something?
Or is that just really white primer?

Just industrial zinc epoxy primer after the frame was blasted, I was surprised how light it was too.
Made painting easier though.
