thought i would throw this in here.

http://bonnevillestreamliner.com/2000cc-v8-engine/

GSXR 2000 engine (ie 2 gsxr 1000cc engines making a V8), given the weight of the minis the largest engine we can swap is either 1.4L forced induction or 2.0L NA, this would given you close to 400hp (depending on year models) and be about the same weight as a mini engine. i know its been done with the hayabusa motors but they would be to big to fit.

Also for anyone looking for an answer to the age old question of how to make a revers gear, saw this the other night, this seems cheap compared to others that are available, small enough and gives a rating of 400hp.

anyone else thought about doing something likes this?

Pro Motive kit. Dad building it. Son owns it. Only has to pass brake test to complete engineering approval.

I've though about this in the past and wondered why no one had done it yet, but have they spun one engine around 180 deg? If so won't the cranks be running in opposite directions so how would you connect them :?: :?

If you look at the pictures of that twin gsxr engine the crankshafts are going opposite ways so the central shaft is driven the same way. And doing this you can't use the bikes gearbox so there goes the simplicity of using the bike engine.

Cheap option? I would hate to see the cost of an expensive one.
