Lol yes only up the driveway so far

Gets the sfingter flexing that's for sure

seems quite quick off the line and not nearly as much torque steer as the Toyota

cant wait to try it out, hopefully in the next couple of weeks

Sorry for the thread hijack sean

Cheers Hallsey

If you are building it to the current 2L sports sedan regs you will have to put a heap of weight in a mini to meet minimum weight...... Then you are limited to the mini's small size and limited wheel choices - not like you are going to fit 18" rims in it and a monster brake package!

Just go track down a historic Group U mini (no weight restrictions) - 500kg should be about it. Historic racing is cheapish......

After building a race car I can 100% confirm that it is easier and allot cheaper to buy a already built car!

Where are the ex sports sedan cars that's the trouble, I'd love to do a resto on one and race it but you'd have to find a well sorted one.

They are out there, but you will have to search far and wide. There is a bloke in qld who has a few that he is restoring - a few have tried to get them off him but he won't sell until they are restored.

I'm the same. Keep looking at my105 - they do pop up occasionally.

I will have the sell my Nb race car to justify buying another race car.
