His engine has been dynoed at about 350HP at the wheels...so about twice what brad makes ...

I think he'll win..or he might just sit there spinning his wheels

yep deans 4efte is still 1330cc, has put out 348hp@ the wheels on 20psi. This was on 98 octane pump fuel too. No NOS. 8)

This motor can handle over 30psi if it could move enough air to push a turbo that high. He could go a bigger turbo then the 400hp GT25 he has now (something like a GT35-Gt40) and get 30psi but will be very peeky, very laggy and not street friendly.

What sort of rpm is needed to get that power out of a 1.3L you ask, well im not sure if he would want me to say, but its close to 10 000rpm

Oh and it has a standard toyota gearbox with TRD LSD putting it to the front wheels.

When he gets sick of wheel spin and getting beaten by me at the drags :D he will see the light and get himself a 4WD gearbox (japanese starlet bolt on) WRX rear diff and 4 big slicks............anyone know the what the fastest street mini 1/4 mile record is??

Going back a while I thought it was QIK 850. Was supercharged, i think it ran low 12's but it's no longer with us. I believe he is a mate of Low'n"Blown's.

There were rumours floating around that Con's Turbo Gti clubby ran hgh 12's too. Haven't seen any evidince though.

This is Aus we are talking tho right?

im talking world record, street driven, not stripped out 400kg race cars. I know of a 9 second mini, but it is a stripped, tubbed, rwd v8......

If the car can be driven to the track and then driven home after racing that is a real street car, and thats what deans will be. Ive put some figures into the drag calculater and fwd he should get low 11's, 4wd high 9's.....cmon deano, lets get this thing in the record books :D

If mine can run mid 13's on a factory motor fwd, anything is possible 8)

4wd would be bullshit hot..... I want to get a hold of a suzi 4wd box and put a rear diff in it. Imagine seeing a mini fry all four tyres. Excuses me for a moment....i need to be alone.

You better post up some burnout pics when you get it all in.
I reckon there will be a fair few burnouts done in your mini!.
