For those that followed this thread I thought I would update it with the latest change. Alternator bracket failed a few times over the past 3yrs so I made a stronger one. That would not break.   Unfortunately the additional weight of the bracket along with the already heavy Honda alternator hanging out the side of the engine caused the bolts to come slightly lose which then sent a vibration through the car. Very annoying. Back to the drawing table. Smaller 60amp Denso alternator from a Daihatsu Cuore and some more welding. Alternator bracket 3.0     Alternator cleaned. Bracket painted
