That's a tight squeeze in a roundnose,I have done 2 N/A G13B conversions in Clubbies and there is a good bit of room for a turbo conversion but fair dues to fitting it all into a roundnose.

HI GUys

I have only driven around the block a couple of times and from what ive seen so far it drives great, really quick and allot of wheel spin. i think it going to need more braking power though but time will tell as it has the 4 wheel disks brakes.

It is a extremely tight fit and i have a few plans to make some more room like installing a water to air cooler and a few other mods but overall its a nice install.

I have removed the vinyl wrap as it was damaged in a few places and was bugging the hell out of me, now got some body work to do that i found laying underneath but nothing major.

will post some progress pics soon.

cheers

Hi GUys

I thought it was time for a bit of an update, been busy with work but recently been given some free time so i have made some progress on the mini.

decided to re-paint in a gloss white just until i can enjoy for a while before it gets taken off the road/track for full body rebuild, it was a home repaint so nothing flashy but will do for the short term anyways. now onto the interior and boot area.

decided to redo the fuel system so i laid out some 12mm aluminum pipe i had left over from another project but my bends didnt come out as planed, i should really measure twice bend once mmmmm.

here's some pic's of the changes

here is the hit-list still to be completed and its all gotta be done for xmas as the car is entered in summernats 2017 for the grass events and possible dyno if i can get my new injectors in and tuned.

hopefully more progress pics to come in the future, cheers

change of intercooler does seem like a good idea, air flow over the one that's there would be pretty dismal...

Hi Guys

The plans for the car is to be street registered, but with intentions for more of a weekend toy and occasional track event.

but currently im in the hands of the money gods, as most are.

once i get the basic's sorted will source a engineer and see what the costs are going to be and what will need to be done to comply, which should'nt be much as i was told it should have passed inpection before the tear down and seeing most things are going back in it should be ok.

cheers

Is it legal having fuel lines inside the cabin?

hey

not too sure if ok, but its a tempory fit as im not happy with the location under the car as its very close to the exhaust and havent got the access at the moment.

i will have to speak to the engineer and see what the requirements are but more than likely need to be mounted under the car.

I wrecked a Honda CRX and the lines were inside the cabin, but there may be a requirement for them to have a protective cover or something...

1966 should have been hydro, if so could you not use the hydrolastic channels for fuel lines? they had a protective plate bolted up to the floor to cover the hydroelastic lines.

'66 was prior to full floor channels with covers - they had the same floors as 850s
