hello, as my gti van gets closer and closer im looking at finishing my fuel setup next. im after some advice on a lift pump. i plan to run, a bosch o44 (already mounted) as a feed to the rail. i need suggestions for a lift pump to fill my surge tank. will a facet electric pump be up to it? i plan on having the return plummed to the surge then the surge returning to the tank, so it will be literally just to keep the fuel level in the surge full! thanks in advance! |

hey the facet pump should be ok but depends on flow rate etc and engine setup,but should be no problem if the 140lph. I would suggest running the return back to main tank first as you want to cool the fuel before you return it to the surge tank, but have your surge tank overflow also plumbed back to the main tank so fuel is constantly cycling and tank doesn't over pressurize the surge tank, this is how im setting my system up for my gti turbo motor but i intend on running E85. cheers Wayne |
