Anyone started a 1l ecoboost swap yet? Ive found this one on turbo minis http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/inde ... tid=571611.
Seems height is the biggest problem as far as fitting, im getting some measurements tommorrow . 2nd hand engine and 5 speed box are going for under 2k and a few aftermarket engine management systems available ( not cheap about 1400 pounds ) but seems like a realistic swap now given they seem to be putting out some impressive output stock. Im keen to give it a go when my current money pit is finished.

OR 10-11k for a brand spanking new engine from Ford (not available as a crate version yet). I have thought about it a lot, Z-cars in the Uk are currently looking at developing a subframe for the round nose with a reduced sump.

Hi everyone!

By the moment, The Mini Evolution conversión is only offered as a full build or as a drive in/drive out conversion. We have a distribution agreement with some workshops and garages in UK, USA and working on a new one in Canada. The cost of the conversion on Drive in/drive out is 15K USA Dollars and from 30K on Full Car build.

We are in touch with some customers in Australia interested in this conversion and geting contact with a third party interested in import our conversion kit to realize the assembly there for their customers.

If anyone would like to get more info about the conversion, Specs, prices, optional extras and further information, please email us to info@restomodclassic.com.

Thanks for the interest and let me know any other question you may have.
