This 'How To' is to help you identify what carbs you have on your car. These are the most common forms found on minis. When identifying your carbs, it helps to look at the pattern of the holes used to mount them to the manifold. SU Carburetors 1-1/4" = HS2 1-1/2" = HS4 1-3/4" = HS6 1-1/2" - HIF38 1-3/4" = HIF44 1-7/8" = HS7 2" = HS8 Others Sidedraft (common sizes- there are others) Weber 40DCOE = 40mm twin choke Dellorto 40DHLA = 40mm twin choke Weber 42DCOE = 42mm twin choke Weber 45DCOE = 45mm twin choke Dellorto 45DHLA = 45mm twin choke Weber 48DCOE = 48mm twin choke Dellorto 48DHLA = 48mm twin choke Downdraft Nikki, 2 barrel progressive Weber 28/36 DCD etc, 2 barrel progressive Weber 48IDA twin choke Carburator Dellorto fzd 32.26 nuovo per fiat 500 3 Reece Fish Carburetor - 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" Carburettor air flow when used with an A series Engine - From www.minispeed.co.uk This will be Updated as we receive more Photos etc Cheers |
