This 'How To' is to help you identify what carbs you have on your car.
These are the most common forms found on minis.
When identifying your carbs, it helps to look at the pattern of the holes used to mount them to the manifold.

SU Carburetors
1-1/4" = HS2

1-1/2" = HS4

1-3/4" = HS6
Image
1-1/2" - HIF38
Image
1-3/4" = HIF44
Image
1-7/8" = HS7
2" = HS8

Others

Sidedraft (common sizes- there are others)
Weber 40DCOE = 40mm twin choke

Dellorto 40DHLA = 40mm twin choke

Weber 42DCOE = 42mm twin choke
Weber 45DCOE = 45mm twin choke
