I have a new toy to play with while the S is away.
I reckon we've got about equal chances of finding spares
When I pulled it apart I found that it is so simple and that the only parts that wear out are pretty easy to make or find.
Be very careful when pulling one apart as there are little non-return valves that fall out of the banjo bolts when you undo them.
The valves are just a pair of plastic/fibre/mica discs in the vacuum side and a ball bearing in the pressure side.
I would bet that if the vacuum side is not working it will be a missing valve from where the previous owner has lost it.

I think it needed to go off to the blaster as well as the shell!
Funnily enough it is now dismantled in the shed and going to the blaster in the morning.
